Who is Dakota Hansen?
Dakota Hansen’s path has been shaped by a mix of faith, technology, and a desire to serve others. After graduating high school in May 2019, he pursued Christian Leadership at Central Christian College of the Bible while also studying Cybersecurity through a partnership program with Indiana Wesleyan University, completing his studies between August 2019 and May 2024.
During that time, Dakota balanced coursework with a variety of jobs, internships, and volunteer roles. From 2019 to 2022, he served on the campus security team. In 2021, he completed an internship at Harvester Christian Church, where he also spoke at churches and youth events and participated in community service projects. From August 2022 through January 2024, he worked in the IT department at Central, gaining hands-on experience supporting users and managing technical systems.
After graduation, Dakota spent a year working on the Help Desk at MFA before moving into his current role as an IT Technician II at Learfield in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Alongside his work in IT and ministry, Dakota is a writer. He released his first publication, Echo’s of the Past, in September 2023, marking the beginning of his journey as a published author.
Dakota married the love of his life on October 11, 2025.
